Founded by David Bell, a wealth manager looking for ways to expand his reach among high net worth clients, the Private Dining Club does a fantastic job of targeting, an often, elusive niche. Having started as an informal venture – a way to connect with his core cliental David has spent years cultivating meaningful relationships and setting up social dinners in London. Over the years these have become more professional with the emergence of a set format and sponsors. So five years ago “The Private Dining Club” was officially launched with a community now reaching over 3,000 individuals and in the last two years has seen over 50 events for over 5,000 attendees.

Since its launch the Private Dining club has expanded internationally. Starting in Geneva, David set about creating events worldwide. With the initial trial doing so well, this year the Private Dining Club, has expanded to the Cayman Islands, Hong Kong and Singapore with plans to reach Asia and the Caribbean in 2018.

Members can choose from a range of flexible packages – starting at £375.00 for a “lite” option and reaching all the way up to £1,200 for corporates (both of these figures are exclusive of VAT.) Depending on your membership package you will find a wide range of benefits including: dinner tickets, listings in the membership directory, discounts on sponsorship packages as well as the option to submit publications for the newsletter. For more information on these packages take a look at the link here.
Their hallmark event – the London version of the Private Dining Club takes place around 3 times a year, and sees around 100 people in attendance. Taking place at prestigious locations in the West End including The Dorchester and the Churchill Hotel. Meanwhile events abroad take place once a year, at similarly respected venues and still feature David. Harnessing his contacts and considerable dedication he has created refined and impressive events that allow wealth managers to break into new markets and connect with high net worth individuals worldwide. One recent event in the Cayman Islands was, impressively, sponsored by the private Swiss bank Lombard Odier as well as Serle Court – demonstrating the calibre of his events.

We spoke to a member of the Private Dining Club who commented, “I have attended many of the PCD events both in London and offshore. They are extremely well run by David and his team and bring together key people working across a range of sectors and have allowed me to build my network in an effective and enjoyable way. David is extremely generous with ensuring you meet the right people and is a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend the PCD.”
